days until NetSource stops hosting ProductCart stores. Shipping, tax, payments and licence checks all run on their servers, so moving your files elsewhere is not a long-term fix.
Your store still works
This is the calm window to move, test and fix things while customers can still buy.
Hosting and support end
NetSource stops hosting ProductCart sites. The tax API and SSL certificates on their hosting end too.
Licence grace period
Stores keep working for a while. NetSource has not said for how long.
Stores stop working
Licence validation fails and integrations stop. NetSource's words: stores "will no longer be usable at all."

A transfer moves data. A migration keeps your business working.
NetSource publishes what its own automated transfer to Shopify does not carry over. Each line below is a place where orders, pages or rankings quietly go missing.

Seven steps. Every one checked.
This is our in-house migration software, recorded while a team member ran it on a fictional ProductCart store. It is used only by our team and is not sold or licensed separately; your dashboard shows the progress of the migration we run for you. Who does what.
Software delivers the migration. People oversee it.
By our estimate of the work in a typical Starter migration, each migration is about 70% automated and 30% human oversight. We don't use AI services anywhere in the migration. Pricing is fixed by tier (Starter $1,500, Plus $2,900, Pro from $5,000); the Exit Audit inventory confirms which tier fits.
Reading your public pages and your exports, producing the store inventory, mapping products, options, images and categories to Shopify, checking every product against Shopify's limits, loading products, collections and content pages into a Shopify development store (which starts on Shopify's default theme), generating and creating the 301 redirects, requesting every old URL, and producing the reconciliation report. A team member starts and watches each of these runs.
Confirming the Exit Audit inventory and your tier, deciding with you on products Shopify can't hold the same way (more than 3 options, tiered pricing), applying your branding and menus on top of the default theme, working through every exception in the report, the fixes you ask for, the domain switch, and all communication with you.
| Step | Automated | Person |
|---|---|---|
| Audit and inventory of your store | 80% | 20% |
| Mapping products, options and images to Shopify | 85% | 15% |
| Building the store (catalogue loaded on the default theme; branding and menus by hand) | 70% | 30% |
| 301 redirects and URL checking | 95% | 5% |
| Reconciliation report and exceptions | 85% | 15% |
| Your review and the fixes you ask for | 0% | 100% |
| Communication and support | 0% | 100% |
You review the finished store and the report yourself, and you never pay the balance for work you have not approved.
Same catalogue. A store built for today.
Drag the slider: the same demo catalogue on its old ProductCart pages, and after our pipeline loaded it into a real Shopify store. We set up a free Shopify theme with your logo, colours and menus, and it works on phones.

Screenshots of the fictional Copperline Marine Supply catalogue on Shopify's free themes, taken from a Shopify development store loaded by our pipeline. Your store uses your own products, photos and brand.

Proof, not promises.
Before you switch your domain, you get a report that adds up. If it doesn't, it says so in red.
Products in your store = products on Shopify + products left out, each with a reason. Nothing disappears without a line in the report.
We request each old address on the new store and record what came back: the redirect, where it landed, and the status code.
Anything Shopify can't hold the same way goes on a list with your decision next to it. You sign off before launch.
Each run records what it created, so a bad load is removed exactly, without touching anything else.
Fixed price. Fixed date.
The audit counts your store; that count is the scope. The price changes only if you add scope in writing.

Fixed price
The audit inventory sets the scope. The price changes only if you add scope in writing, or your catalogue grows by more than 10% before we start.
Fixed date
If we miss the agreed launch date through our own fault, you get 5% off the build fee for each business week we are late, up to 20%.
Redirect guarantee
Every URL in the audit inventory redirects to a live page at launch. Report a miss within 30 days and we fix it free within 2 business days.
Some query-string URLs (viewPrd.asp?…) may not be redirectable by Shopify itself; any we can't redirect on the server are listed in your report before launch, with the fallback we use.Data reconciliation
In-scope products, variants, images and collections match 100%, or every exception is listed for your sign-off before launch. Exceptions (like products with more than 3 options) are found at the audit, not on launch day.
Low-risk payment
The audit fee counts toward a 30% deposit. The 70% balance is due when you approve the finished store, before the domain switch.

When does ProductCart stop working?
NetSource stops hosting ProductCart sites on 11 January 2027. After that, an extended licence grace period lets stores keep working for a while; NetSource has not announced when it ends. Then licence validation fails and stores “will no longer be usable at all.” The full timeline.
How much does it cost to move from ProductCart to Shopify?
A fixed price: $1,500 for Starter (up to 500 products), $2,900 for Plus (up to 2,000 products) and from $5,000 for Pro. It starts with a $149 Exit Audit, credited in full if you go ahead within 30 days. Your Shopify plan is paid separately, to Shopify.
How long does a ProductCart to Shopify migration take?
Starter stores are live in 10 business days and Plus stores in 15, counted from when we have your exports and store access. A rush option puts Starter live in 5 business days. How the migration works, step by step.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Every old product, category and page URL gets a 301 redirect to its new address, and we request each one to confirm it lands on the right page. That is how a site keeps the value of its old pages. No one can honestly promise positions, and we don't.
Do I need to buy Shopify first?
No. We build your store in a Shopify development store in our Partner account, at no cost to you. When you approve it, you take ownership and choose your Shopify plan. Shopify plan fees are paid by you, to Shopify.
What do you need from me?
Your control-panel exports (Reports › Custom Data Export, and the Export for Re-Import), your logo and colours, and a signed authorisation for us to read your store. We send exact instructions after sign-up.
What about my customers and their passwords?
Customers can be imported on Plus, or as a $199 add-on. Passwords can't be moved to Shopify by anyone; customers get an invitation to set a new one.
What happens to my order history?
It can be imported as a read-only archive (from $350). NetSource notes that imported orders are dated by the import date with the original date kept in the record; we confirm how it looks for your tools at the audit.
My products have more than 3 options, or a configurator.
Shopify allows 3 options per product and has no built-in configurator. The audit finds these products and gives you choices: split, merge, a product-options app, or a configurator app. Configurators are Pro work.
Can't I just keep ProductCart on other hosting?
For a while. NetSource says you may run it elsewhere, but licence validation and the shipping, tax and payment integrations run on their systems, and after the grace period “stores will no longer be usable at all.”
What if you're late?
If we miss the agreed date through our own fault, 5% comes off the build fee for each business week, up to 20%. Delays caused by waiting on exports or feedback move the date instead.
Is this automated or done by people?
Both. By our estimate of the work in a typical Starter migration, it is about 70% automated and 30% human oversight: our own software reads your store, maps and loads the catalogue, creates and checks the redirects and builds the report, and a person confirms the inventory and your tier, decides product exceptions with you, applies branding and menus, works through the report, and handles communication. We don’t use AI services in the migration. Who does what.
Is my data safe?
We read your store only with your written authorisation. Store access tokens are encrypted, we don’t use AI services in the migration and never send customer personal data to one, and we delete your project data after the fix window. Details in the privacy policy.
